Dr. Renee J. Rogers, Ph.D., FACSM, is a senior scientist at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Rogers is an expert in bio-behavioral intervention design with a focus on relevant engagement approaches that blends her 20+ years of experience working in exercise physiology, behavior change, and obesity treatment. Through her research, education, and advocacy work, she aims to help patients with obesity and other chronic conditions develop a positive relationship with physical activity. Her current portfolio of research focuses on the role of exercise and body composition with contemporary obesity treatments and patient perspectives related to engaging in lifestyle behaviors.
