Webinar: Continuous Glucose Monitoring: Learnings from Active Adults
Introduce the practice of continuous glucose monitoring.
High glucose (blood sugar) variability is associated with earlier onset of disease in healthy adults without diabetes. More specifically, prospective studies demonstrate that higher glucose variability is associated with an increased risk of multiple diseases. Our data demonstrate that there are multiple lifestyle factors that can minimize glucose variability and potentially lower future risk.
Learning Objectives
1. Introduce the practice of continuous glucose monitoring - ideal protocol - what can be learned from healthy, active adults
2. Define glucose variability - why this metric is critical to evaluate for optimal health
3. Explain study share results for the correlation between glucose variability and lifestyle choices
